Dave’s Spicy Pork Meatballs

Great with pasta, cooked into a sauce or even just served as horderves with your favourite dipping sauce.

cooking time: 25mins

makes: 20 balls

Ingredients

500g pork mince

3 med. spring onions

3 med mushrooms

¼ med red capsicum

¼ tsp coriander

¼ tsp turmeric

½ tsp smoked paprika

1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

1 clove garlic

1 tsp mild chilli

salt and pepper to taste

spray oil

Method

Preheat oven to 180ºC [350ºF].  Spray rectangular oven dish with spray oil.  Roughly chop vegetables.  Combine all other ingredients in food processor and blend until all large pieces are gone.  Wet your hands to prevent mixture from sticking to them. Roll into 20 balls about 2-2.5cm across.  Place on tray and cook in oven for 10mins.  Remove tray.  Lightly spray balls with spray oil. Return to oven for a further 15mins or until brown. Remove from oven and drain balls.

Serve hot
